Tourist Visa
Indian passport holders must have a valid B-2 Tourist Visa for any U.S. port of call, even if you’re only getting off for a shore excursion. Additionally, a valid Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) (Canada Visitor Visa).
FAQs
Do I have to get off the ship at every port?
No, you can stay onboard. But remember, immigration rules often require you to have a valid visa even if you don’t plan to disembark.
Is Wi-Fi available onboard?
Yes, but it’s often expensive and slower than on land. Most cruise lines sell Wi-Fi packages for social media or unlimited use.
Do I need travel insurance?
Highly recommended. Medical care onboard or emergency evacuation can cost thousands of dollars. Many cruise lines may require proof of insurance.
